PHILADELPHIA, GREENBUILD (November 20, 2013) ― American Standard is adding new models and color options to its popular two-piece Champion PRO line of toilets, known for their water saving flushing performance with the industry's largest siphonic trapway.

Sold exclusively through wholesale distribution, this expanded Champion toilet line now includes a standard height (15-inch) elongated bowl. In addition, the Right Height (16 1/2-inch elongated and round front) models introduced in 2012 are now being offered in elegant black, enhancing the white, bone and linen shades already in the collection.

The Champion PRO series features the industry’s largest siphonic 2-3/8-inch trapway and 4-inch diameter flush valve with powerful performance and virtually no clogs. In fact, Champion PROs can even flush a bucket full of golf balls. Additionally, the exclusive American Standard PowerWash bowl cleaning technology scrubs the bowl with pressurized water from the rim during every flush to remove every last trace of paper and waste.

Champion PRO toilets achieve the highest bulk removal score on the Maximum Performance (MaP) test, an independent report of toilet performance. These toilets can successfully flush 1,000 grams (2.2 pounds) of waste while using a water-saving 1.28 gallons per flush (gpf). This earns them WaterSense-certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for providing water savings along with high performance.

For lasting durability, this collection of trade exclusive toilets includes robust metal parts not found on products sold at big box stores. Plus, they are covered by a 10 year limited warranty on tank and trim.

All PRO series toilets include EZ-Install installation kits designed to ensure that floor bolts remain upright, the tank-to-bowl connection process is streamlined, and the time-consuming task of bolt cutting is eliminated.

Cleaning a Champion PRO toilet is easy with EverClean, the unique permanent finish from American Standard that inhibits the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the surface, helping toilets stay cleaner, longer. Unlike some competitor products that either have no surface treatment or offer this type of surface as an upgrade, every Champion PRO toilet includes the exclusive American Standard EverClean surface at no extra cost.

The original Champion PRO line included Right Height elongated and Right Height round front models, either with or without tank liners and locking tank cover options. All Right Height, and now the standard height, Champion PRO toilets are 12-inch rough-in configurations.

Chrome trip levers come standard on all PRO models. Optional lever finishes in satin nickel, oil rubbed bronze, white, bone or linen are also available. Champion PRO tanks come with the trip lever on the left side. A right hand orientation with a chrome trip lever is available as an option.
